Office space revitalised
I am officially obsessed with these newly designed Harcouts, Timaru office spaces which I was lucky enough to design and create for Codie, Riley and the Harcourts team. Before you can see the space lacked light, colour and texture so our brief was to create a space that was inviting and luxurious
for clients and visitors.
This space now
Has a very elegant vibe created with the use of rich tones, Luxe fabrics and subtle colours, which are then offset with tones of dramatic contrast through different materials and metals creates an inviting environment for clients and visitors to this space.
The abundance of natural light coming through the long narrow windows enhances and bounces a beautiful light of the gorgeous Catherine Martin wallpaper. With the papers neutral background and sharp angles in the pattern, the wallpaper
not only injects the space with life but also adds warmth and depth which the building truly deserves with its pre existing angles shown in the architecture.
This is then complimented by the selected interior décor. Large Black metal framed mirrors have been used in the space to break the straight lines in the room, as well as create reflection and the illusion of a much larger space. The combination of the black wooden floor boards, marble round tables, velvet chairs, and large black pendant light work well together while still standing out and making an individual impact.
The black planters also add another element to the space with allowing us the opportunity to introduce greenery. We have used large Palm trees which work well with the selected Catherine Martin wallpaper and instantly liven up the space by adding colour and texture.
A big Thank you to Codie, Riley & The Harcourt's Timaru team for allowing me to be involved in this awesome project. I had a lot of fun creating the new offices and I am thrilled with the design outcome.
